Photos and Images

When you use the AI identification feature, photos you submit are processed on secure servers solely to identify snake species. Images are not permanently stored and are deleted within 24 hours of processing.

Location Data

With your permission, we collect approximate location data to display nearby snake sightings on the interactive map and to tag community sighting records. Location data is never sold to third parties.

Account Information

If you create an account, we collect your email address and display name to manage your profile and community contributions. Guest mode is available with no account required.

Usage Data

We collect anonymized usage analytics (app crashes, feature usage frequency) to improve performance and user experience. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.

How We Use Your Information

Submitted photos are deleted within 24 hours. Account data is retained until you delete your account. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Snap Snake is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.
